Josh's Story

North Carolina guitarist and singer-songwriter Josh Perryman ignites every stage with fiery slide guitar and vocals that grab you from the first note. Drawing inspiration from Big Star, The Replacements, Eric Clapton, The Three Kings (BB, Albert, and Freddie), Dwayne Allman, The Black Crowes, and the Grateful Dead, Josh has spent over 20 years shaping the regional music scene. Whether tearing through his originals or rocking expertly crafted covers, his performances are soulful, electrifying, and unforgettable. As a member of NC pop-rock favorites Weekend Excursion, he toured extensively while the band’s music appeared on MTV’s The Real World and Dawson’s Creek, and he continues to thrill audiences everywhere.

Josh now lives in Wilkes, NC, with his wife and their kids, continuing to write, perform, and chase the songs that made him fall in love with music in the first place.
